HVN AIRPORT MARKS FIRST ANNIVERSARY OF AMERICAN AIRLINES REGIONAL JET SERVICE – ADDING CHARLOTTE SERVICE
In the year since American Airlines replaced its turboprop aircraft with Regional Jets, just under 77,000 passengers have traveled through convenient, hassle-free HVN Airport, a 35% ridership increase over the prior 12 months.
“The Tweed - New Haven Airport Authority (TNHAA) offers our congratulations to American Airlines on this very successful milestone,” said Tim Larson, Executive Director of the TNHAA. “We look to build on this momentum and pledge to continue to work closely with AA, as well as the communities and stakeholders served by HVN, to ensure the Airport remains an invaluable neighbor and welcomed partner for the mutual development and benefit of all.”
The popular jet service, to and from Philadelphia International (PHL), operates 3 flights Sundays through Fridays and 2 flights on Saturdays. Read more here:
