Plan Ahead for Parking & Ground Transportation

Visit ParkHVN for the latest parking availability and overflow options. Parking is limited during peak travel periods and it is recommended that you book in advance.

Lyft is the only rideshare provider at HVN. Plan ahead by downloading the Lyft app, or explore other ground transportation options, including M7 Taxi and CT Transit.

Weather Advisory

Please check the weather before heading to the airport. All ticketing counters are in a portable building. Prior to security screening, you may be outside at various points.

Real ID Notice

Beginning May ‍7, 2‍02‍5, you will need a state-issued REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or identification card, or another acceptable form of ID (such as a passport), to fly within the United States.

We recommend arriving early to allow enough time for parking, check-in and security.

If you're only bringing a carry-on bag, you can head straight to the security checkpoint.

If you're checking a bag, please stop by the ticketing counter first.

Checked bags must be tagged 45 minutes before the departure*

For flights departing before 9 AM, the ticket counter opens three (3) hours prior to departure.
For flights departing after 9 AM, the ticket counter opens two (2) hours prior to departure.

*All ticketing counters are located in a modular building to the left of Departures entrance. After you check in, proceed with your tagged bags to the security checkpoint for drop-off.

Take advantage of this time to check in, drop off your bags, or ask any questions you may have. Flights begin boarding 35 minutes prior to departure. Boarding closes 15 minutes prior to departure.
